Barcelona’s Gothic quarter is situated around the Cathedral . this is the heart of the old town of Barcelona, called Barri Gòtic . hence was born the city. The quarter stretches from La Rambla to Via Laietana , and from the waterfront to Ponda de Sant Pere .
